Temperatures will rise from today Monday and should be in the mid-20s all week long.

The high pressure will block out the Trade Winds meaning that north Gran Canaria will be sunny. Conversely, the lack of wind will allow clouds to build up over the south of the island due to evaporation.

Expect warm sunny days in the north with a bit of afternoon cloud. In the resorts, the morning should be sunny with cloud developing during the afternoons. There could even be the odd afternoon shower in south Gran Canaria this week. 

As for the surf, there will be surfable waves in both north and south Gran Canaria for most of the week.
