Other Canary Islands

Tenerife is an hour's ferry ride from Gran Canaria and there's daily boats to Fuerteventura from Las Palmas. You can get to all of them by plane. While a day trip is pushing it lots of people hop between islands during their holidays. Here's our guide to the best things to do on the other Canary Islands.

The Atlantic is a vast open ocean full of life and there are only a few places where it's creatures can come to breed, give birth and rest. The Canary Islands, rising out of the deep ocean, are one of them. 
As Canary Islands photographers we've visited most of the 500 beaches in the archipelago. It's tough to narrow them down to a Top Ten so we cheated a bit, but here's our pick of the best places in the Canaries to spend a day on the sand.
